Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Dmitri Tippens Krushnic who was born on August 20th, 1974 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Growing up, his family was poor; so poor that sometimes they were even homeless.
After he graduated from school, he interned for four months at the White House in Washington D.C,
studied social theory, was a construction worker and more. Then, on a lark, he decided to take an acting class.
That was the beginning of something marvelous.
In 2001, Dmitri married his high school love, Victoria Vantoch. They had two lovely kids, West Anaximander Collins (born in 2010) & Maison Marie Collins (born in 2012).
Who are we talking about?
Yes, it´s our actor, baker and candlestick maker Misha (nickname from a childhood friend) Collins (maiden name from his great grandmother)

Let's share some of your filmography.
Back in 1999, you appeared in Charmed (episode 02.07) as Eric Bragg.
In 2001, you played the character Sergei Chubais in Seven Days (episode 03.21).
Also, in 2001, you had a recurring role as Alexis Drazen in season one of the series 24.
(7 episodes: "Day 1: 12:00pm-1:00pm" - "Day 1: 4:00pm-5:00pm" & "Day 1: 9:00pm-10:00pm" -"Day 1: 10:00pm-11:00pm")
In 2005, you portrayed the character Bret in 3 episodes (12.11; 12.15 & 12.16) of ER (Emergency Room).
You also played Justin Farris in 2006 in the show NCIS (episode 4.03)
Morton Brit was a character you played in 2007 in CSI New York (episode 04.01)
When the first episode of Supernatural aired on September 13, 2005,
it was the start of something special for me.
On September 18th , 2008 the first episode with Castiel aired (04.01 “Lazarus Rising”).
Castiel's introduction was awesome and I wished to see you more often.
My wish came true.
I know in 2020 the show will end with Season 15,
but nothing really ends. We will be #SPNFamily forever.
While playing Castiel in Supernatural, you also found time to play other roles.
In 2010, you played the character Jacob, who saved the world in the TV-Movie Stonehenge Apocalypse.
We could see you in Ringer (episode 1.14) as Dylan in 2012.
In Timeless (2016), episode "Public Enemy No. 1" (1.15), from the creator Eric Kripke, you played Eliot Ness alongside Jim Beaver, who played NSA Agent Neville.
That just names a few of your accomplishments.
You also make time for conventions so we can spend time with you.

You gave Dr. Chambers your voice for the audio book Tales from Beyond the Pale: The Chambers Tape.
With your angelic voice, I really can relax, take a deep breath, close my eyes and let the calming effects of the Aviary work its magic on me.
You also write poems!
Three of them were published: “Baby Pants” and “Old Bones” in the Columbia Poetry Review Issue 21 in 2008
and “Suddenly” in Issue 32 in 2019.

With your campaigns like “I wish for this”, you helped more people than you can possibly guess.
You support so many important causes with all the charity work you do.
Speaking about charity work, you are also the co-founder of Random Acts, a non-profit organization
aiming to conquer the world one random act of kindness at a time.
